OUR MISSION:
To provide professional music education while empowering the
students to achieve their highest musical ability and reach
their goals and dreams via music, while having the most fun.
SCHOOL POLICIES
TUITION POLICY:
Tuition is a monthly fee,
$120.00, due at the beginning of the month, by your
first monthly lesson. A $10.00 late fee
will be charged to tardy payments. If payments are habitually
late WSM reserves the right to cancel student’s lessons.
Tuition payment cannot be adjusted for missed lessons.
Missed lessons are treated the same as cancellation policy
below.
STUDENT CANCELLATION AND MAKE-UP LESSONS:
WSM requires 24 hour
notification of any cancellations due to anything but an
emergency. If a student becomes ill the day of their lesson
please call by 10 AM. Students taking lessons prior to 2:30pm
must call the night before their lesson to be eligible for a
make-up lesson. In the event a student does not provide 24
hour notification in a non emergency situation, no refund or
make-up lesson is allowed. There is one make
up lesson allowed for every three months.
If a make-up lesson is missed it cannot be rescheduled.
Please understand this policy is in place out of respect for the
teachers .The teachers and Warwick School of Music have reserved
this time for the student and the teachers need to be
compensated for their time. Please note WSM does not follow the
same closing schedule as local public schools.
TEACHER CANCELLATION AND HOLDAY CLOSINGS:
All of the instructors at WSM are
professional musicians currently performing in our area. In the
event a teacher is unable to be present during a regularly
scheduled lesson time; the lesson will be covered by another
instructor or will be rescheduled for another date. There are no
make-up lessons for holiday closings. Tuition is for 4 lessons
per month. Some months have five weeks and a bonus lesson is
given.
INCLEMENT WEATHER:
In the event of dangerous weather
conditions, if there is a question of the school being closed,
please call the school or check the school's web site. Please be
aware our school does NOT follow the same closings as the
public school district. Make up policy is the same as above.
OUR
CHILDREN’S SAFETY:
Please do not have your children
wait outside of the school.
Please come in and pick up your
children or call when you arrive and we will walk your child
outside.
Please call if anyone other than
yourself will be picking up your child.
Communication is the key to any relationship. We want
to encourage dealing with little situations through
communication before they grow out of control. Please call and
speak to us any time if needed. Our goal is to have our students
learn, be happy and have fun!
